Railroad Bridge in Harpers Ferry
This photograph was taken from the Maryland side of the Potomac River showing the railroad trestle that was destroyed and rebuilt several times during the Civil War. Loudon Heights is visible at the far left, above the Shenandoah River which flows into the Potomac at this point.
