Abraham Lincoln Postcard

Abraham Lincoln is shown here in a photograph taken during his presidency with illustrations of his early log cabin home and the White House. The following quote from Lincoln's letter to Horace Greeley from August 22, 1862 is also provided: "If I could save the Union without freeing the slave, I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves, I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone, I would also do that." This is one of many postcards published commemorating the centennial of Lincoln's birth.
