Abraham Lincoln's Second Inauguration
This is a picture of Abraham Lincoln's second inauguration. Lincoln is the man with the blotch over his face near the center of the page. John Wilkes Booth, who was in the crowd, later said regretfully, "what an excellent chance I had to kill the President if I had wished, on inauguration day."
