Albert G. Jenkins (1830-1864)
Albert Gallatin Jenkins was elected as a Democrat representative from Virginia to Congress (1857-60). He joined the Confederate Army and was appointed brigadier general in 1860. Wounded at the Battle of Cloyds Mountain, Jenkins died on May 21st, 1864.
