Adelaide and Joey Gougenheim
"The Sisters Gougenheim," Adelaide and Josephine, made their acting debut in 1850 at London's Olympic Theatre. The British siblings made their U.S. debut in 1850, California in 1855, Australia in 1856, and New York in 1859. Adelaide married Henry Frisbie and Joey wed a Mr. Constable from Australia. Gurney & Son published this engraving in the 1860s.
