Alton B. Parker (1852-1926)
Alton Brooks Parker was a jurist. In 1885 he accepted an appointment to the New York State supreme court. In 1897 he was elected chief justice of the court of appeals. Parker was nominated for president by the Democratic Party, but was badly defeated by Roosevelt.
