A Burial Site on the Little Bighorn River in Montana
A rough cross marks where Colonel Miles Keogh and thirty-eight men from Company 1, Seventh Cavalry, were buried on June 25, 1876 after the Battle of Little Bighorn. Army men are completing the burials and painting the inscriptions on the wooden headstones.
