"Burial of General Braddock"
This engraving is based on John Trumbull's painting of Braddock's burial. General Edward Braddock was killed in 1755 trying to drive the French out of the Ohio valley during the French and Indian War. It was engraved in 1858 by John Rogers after a painting by John McNevin.
