Harrison and Tecumseh at Grouseland
This 1906 painting by Stanley M. Arthurs depicts the 1810 council meeting between Indiana Governor William Henry Harrison and Chief Tecumseh at Harrison's home, Grouseland. Tecumseh had come to protest the recent treaties that yielded yet more land to white settlers.
