"At the Dance"
This is a group portrait of Big Foot's Miniconjou band at a grass dance on the Cheyenne River in South Dakota, probably on or near Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Nearly all of these people were killed later that year during the massacre at Wounded Knee.
