"Interview Between Gen. Jackson & Weatherford"
This engraving depicts a meeting between General Andrew Jackson and Weatherford, the leader of the Creek war party during the War of 1812. Although Jackson defeated Weatherford in the battle of Horseshoe Bend on the Tallapoosa River, he admired his courage and granted him a pardon.
