A Letter From Andrew Jackson to F. P. Blair
This is the concluding paragraph and signature of a letter written by Andrew Jackson to F. P. Blair and dated "Hermitage, April 9th, 1845." It begins, "This may be the last letter I may be able to write to you but live or die I am your friend." Jackson died two months later.
