George Henry Gilbert (1821-1866)
George Henry Gilbert was an actor. Born in Stepney, in the "East End" of London, England, he made his debut at Her Majesty's Theater in London as a dancer. Gilbert made his American debut as Sandie in the ballet of "Perpetual Motion" in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was the stage manager of the Broadway Theater in 1865-66.
