"The Homestead Riot"
This engraving from Harper's Weekly depicts the Pinkerton men after their surrender as a result of their barge being set aflame in the Monongahela River during the Homestead steel strike of 1892. They were forced to run a gauntlet through an angry mob on their way to a temporary prison.
